Order Payment Source as Payment Link or Square Online

We sell tickets online. Our orders have always populated with Square Online xxxxxx as the "Source", but yesterday the payment source on some orders is populating as Payment Links.

Can someone offer the definition of these two payment sources and why the system might differentiate between them in processing an order? Has there been a system upgrade that requires us to change some settings?

Are all of your orders coming from your Square Online site? A payment link lets customers pay online without a website and can be shared from your Dashboard, Point of Sale app, or Virtual Terminal.

Were those transactions paid through the link instead of your online site? Feel free to share any screenshots and order numbers so I can take a closer look.
