How to change price on additional quantities? over it.

Pretty simple, I have about 50 widgets i want to sell that are all the same price point, however each widget is unrelated to others. They are not 50 variations.

I want to charge for example $15 if you buy one widget, and then an additional $5 per widget each thereafter.

All i can find from reading the square articles is that I can make variations that i name different and flag as being $5 each, but that doesnt make any sense. this is the least intuitive thing ive ever seen. 25 years ago i could do this with Paypal and zero effort. I didnt need to hunt through forums or ask AI for help. About to just move everything onto "unnamed platform" where its much more intuitive to have online social media store.

I just did a quick search and I think what you would be looking to do would be setup an automatic discount. An example of that can be found in the solution here. There is also another example here as well with a bit more visuals.

@blingy Piggy backing on what @Minion said, which is spot on......

I created three widgets in my catalog I called A1, A2 and A3, all selling for $15.

Then I created an automatic discount that ONLY applied to those widgets. It is a fixed $10 discount. Basically the discount says that "when any one widget is purchased" use the "Buy one, Get one" rule and apply the fixed discount to up to 999 other widgets. (See screen shots).

When I go to my POS app on my phone and add the first widget, the total is $15. After that all other widgets are added to the cart at $15, but then discounted $10.

This seems to work exactly as you describe.
