How can I display reports by day of the week?

Hello, not sure I don't know how to search ... Just trying to figure out how to pull reports displaying by DAY OF THE WEEK ? usually Thursday and Monday are quieter days for us and I would like to have a clear overview of sales per "day of the week"... is this possible to pull ? I just see the sales per hour but not per day of the week.

Welcome to the Seller Community @PJN!

The easiest way to pull this report would be from your online Square Dashboard. When you logged into your Square account from a computer or laptop, you can navigate to Reports > Sales Summary.

Within this section, you can change how the reports are display from Summary to Weekly. This will display a draph as well as breakdown of product sales and total collected per day in a week.

Hi there! thanks, I tried this and it gives me a summary by day of the week alright but if I want to dig down by item category or menu I cannot do it from the options a the top.

When I go into Item sales (the one I usually use) and select "weekly" I cannot see by day of the week.

Am I missing sth? Is there a way to combine item category with days of the week?

Ah, I didn't realise you were looking under Item Sales! So unfortunately the little Day of the Week graph is only visible when you're in Sales Summary.

I'm not sure if this will help but under Item Sales, you could filter it by Daily rather than Weekly and this should give a break day per day of how many item/category are sold.
