Change in Variations on retail POS screen

Hi folks

Second time posting this question. It happened before and a solution was found, but this time that solution doesn't fix the problem....

Is anyone else experiencing a change in the way variations are coming up on-screen within the retail POS screen?

It used to be a pop-up screen in the centre of the sales screen when selecting a product, the pop-up screen showing the variation options which could be selected.

Now we don't get a pop-up screen, just the normal sales screen, and have to tap the item a second time inorder to go through another step to select the variations we need. It really slows things down and als relying on people to remember to check the variation options every time.

A simple process which has become a right pain.

Are you suffering, or have you found a solution????

Any help appreciated..

Hi Daithi, thanks for flagging this.

It sounds like this may be related to our new Square for Retail Checkout experience.

Can you try the following steps on your app:

Tap ≡ More, then navigate to Settings.
Tap Favorites > toggle off Enable the new basket experience.

After doing this my variations popped back up on the main screen.

they don't show like that at all?
