If that is the case, and you still can’t transfer your account, you’ll need to &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/us/en/contact?panel=FAB456B04971&amp;amp;skip_unit_select=true" target="_self"&gt;call Square Customer Support&lt;/A&gt; back. &amp;nbsp;This time, though, &amp;nbsp;don’t ask for Payroll. &amp;nbsp;Just tell the rep that you are having issues with your transfer and see if they can either resolve it or escalate it to the engineers to look into.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Remember that this is Labor Day weekend and Support will be very short-staffed on Monday. &amp;nbsp;So you might want to wait to call until Tuesday.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Sqare account transfer</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am selling my business to a new owner. We deactivated everything but when I click on transfer account, I still get a message that I have payroll account that needs to be closed. When I spoke with the payroll department, they show that payroll has been deactivated and said once our employee receives their last check, the system will allow the transfer. I am still having the same issue. Please help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
