Being from Canada, is there any way to use Square in the USA?

Square says to make a USA account, but you need a zip code and obviously being from Canada I do not have a zip code or any of the information needed to open a second USA account. I go to trade shows and am just starting to go to trade shows down in the USA and use Square for all payments.

Hey @TideIndustries - Unfortunately, cross-border payments aren't available at this time. Square merchants are only authorized to process payments within their country of activation. Since you have a CA account, you wouldn't be able to process payments in the US. A potential workaround would be to manually enter the payments when you return, but then there is the risk of the card being declined.

So that explains why I can’t take a payment while on vAcstion in another country ???

Correct @Nogames, you won't be able to take payments outside of Canada that's where you set up your account. I hope can still enjoy your vacation though!
