I am researching as a Canadian Restaurant Manager.

My Question is ... Are the Payment Processing Fees for Processing Credit Cards (2.9%) charged in Canadian Dollars CAD or USD?

Hi @Doogi, welcome to the Seller Community, thanks for your interest in using Square for your Restaurant.

The per transaction fee for credit cards is 2.65%. So if you insert, tap or swipe a credit card the fee is 2.65% of the total transaction amount. As your business is located in Canada all of your transactions will be processed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

If you have international customers you the payment will be processed in CAD.
