How does one process Band tax exemptions on Square at checkout?

How do I account for the 8% PST that band status members don't have to pay? There is no option to remove it at check out. I have figured out that I can create the customer and file their status # there for future reference, but there doesn't seem to be a way to remove just the 8% from the 13% HST that is charged here in Ontario.

Okay so after fiddling with it, I think I've found a workaround. I went into taxes and broke the HST down into separate categories of 8% PST and 5% GST. Applied both taxes to all items.

When processing a sale I will go into the tax on the checkout screen and delete the 8% PST leaving only the 5% GST.

Then I will create a new customer (if they are not already in the system) and put in their name and the Band Status ID # under company for future reference.

I hope this helps anyone else looking for the same info.
