What does the "store front" button mean?

While adding items to my inventory I noticed a button that says "add to store front". I do have a physical retail store as well as a online one with all of the same inventory. What exactly does this button do? I already have all of my items synced to my square app to make in-person sales so I would like to know if checking this box would be beneficial to me . TIA

Are you seeing that button when you add items to your Dashboard or directly to you Online Store?

Maybe send over a screenshot of what you're seeing, so I can point you in the right direction.
