Discount code entry

How do I expose the 'Discount Code' entry box on the 'online cart' at checkout? (such that my clients can enter the code I have given them. I have set up a discount code...but there doesn't seem to be a place for my clients to enter it at checkout. Thanks.

Is your online store a Square Online Store, or did you create it with a separate web host?

Square online store. (not the Weebly plug-in). I am using the "Appointments" online store...and want to offer a discount to VIP clients...but....I have created a code, yet there doesn't seem to be a place for them to ENTER the code. Happy to send a screenshot if that helps. Thanks.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. If you want to provide your customers with a discount for online store purchases, then you'll want to create coupons within the online store dashboard.

Okay....Sorry but the help file indicates to go to Items>Coupons.....which doesn't exist. There is only Discounts. Where is the "Coupons" link? Help.

@FCL It sounds like you're not in the store editor and in the regular Dashboard because Discounts is only for Point of Sale.

You'll need to go to > Online Store from the online Dashboard to get to the editor.

Okay...so I'm on the link you provided, logged in and selected ITEMS...and the only options under ITEMS is:

-Service Library

-Modifiers

-Categories

-Discounts

-Sales taxes

-Options

-Units

....nothing that says 'Coupons'.

@FCL You're still not under the site editor if it gives you those options.

This may be easier for you if you contact our direct CS team so they can look at your account setup with you and walk through it together.
