BUG: Tax Rules FAIL on split tickets!

I would like to report a bug!

I have a tax rule that turns OFF a tax if the default "For Here" dining option is selected. Works great.

HOWEVER, as soon as you split a ticket, the NEW ticket(s) now INCLUDE this tax.. even though the new tickets are ALSO defaulting to the "For Here" dining option.

This has to be a bug, in my opinion.

Hmm, not sure if this is expected behavior tbh. Never tested this out. Have you reached out to CS yet to confirm if you're experiencing a bug? If it is a bug, they're able to triage your problem to Engineering.
