How do you track inventory used internally

I've been searching for a way to track inventory used internally without inventory re-counts or comping because these options just don't work for us. We have items we sell but sometimes we also use them internally; for example the other day we had broken one of the fittings we use in our shop to connect water lines, I had to take a part out of inventory but we want to be able to track this item and know that it was used in our shop.

Any suggestions would be great!

Great question!

Yes, this is an option with your inventory tracking. You can select "Damage" as an option for adjusting the inventory of the specific item.

I have added a screenshot of how this would look. Go to Dashboard > Item Library > Select Item > Adjust Inventory.
