Hi. We are in Canada. Can I use my square machine in the USA or do I need a different machine.

Hey @RoseHillYarns, thanks so much for your post, and wishing you a very warm welcome aboard the community.

At the moment, Square hardware can only be used in the country where it was originally purchased.

This means that card transactions attempted outside of the country where you purchased your hardware can’t be processed with Square. However, you can accept cash transactions while traveling internationally.

Note: If you’re in the country where you activated your Square account and purchased your hardware, you can process international cards.
