Square invoice amount change

Hello,

I had a question regarding square invoice. I am in Canada by the way. Say i send an invoice to a client and they have paid a deposit, but now i need to increase the amount to the balance owing and the client has already approved the increase if i just make the change on the current invoice will i have to look out for anything. I just want to make sure payments done correctly. We charge a percentage based deposit, but since i have already accepted the deposit and now they wanna increase the amount of food so i wanna increase the amount per person. Thanks

At this time, Square Invoices cannot be modified after a payment or partial payment has been accepted. In this case, the process would either be to charge the remainder of the amount in a separate invoice or refund the current payment and then create a new invoice with the corrected amount.
