How do I import items to my socket mobile s700?

How do I import items to my socket mobile s700? My scanner is connected to Bluetooth. Is there a way to scan a barcode then tell square what item it should be? Or like a mass import? Or do I literally have to type in hundreds of upc codes into the description box?

Also if I have the same item with different bar codes is there a way to add multiple codes to one item?

Do your items already have barcodes created for them or do you need to create bar codes? If you still need to create them, you can find more information here.

Do the items already have UPC/SKU codes from another system that you'd like to import to Square?

I'll keep an eye out for your reply!

They already have barcodes. The only place I have the codes is on the items.

With Square for Retail, you can automatically generate unique SKUs when you add a new item variation or create a barcode label. If you're interested in Square for Retail or are already enrolled, you can find informaiton on how to get started with this process here.

If you're on the standard Square Point of Sale, you can follow the instructions provied by @sciabica1936 here.

In the edit mode of each individual item you can just scan your barcode and it will automatically populate the SKU field for you. No typing necessary.
