Is there a way to track when future items become available?

We are farmers and our clients would like to see when products are coming.

(ie, I don't have beets for sale now, but 300 will be available to order on July 1. )
What is the best way to represent this on square?

Nothing seems like the right fit - I have considered using:
Item Attributes (availability select dropdown),
Keeping stock in different locations (market available now, greenhouse1: available july 1, etc.)

but nothing allows me to simply track the shipments I am going to receive an easily track the status of the inventory, easily switching it from greenhouse to ready.

Having an easy to use "status" dropdown would suffice, alsthough having it as part of the inventory functionality would really help.

Anyone have a solution?
Is there an add on for this?

Currently, there isn't a way to track when future items will become available. However, you can offer preorders as an option.

Regarding our Item badges, they indicate when an item is on sale, has low inventory, or is out of stock. I agree that adding a feature to track upcoming availability would enhance Square's offerings.
