Manually add customers to square marketing

Hi!

I started using Square Marketing a few days ago. I want to send an automation to my customers to ask for their birthdays. However, nobody was subscribed to email Marketing, so I manually sent a form to all my customers to make them agree to subscribe to the new system. When I tried to manually add the option «subscribe to email marketing», I was unable to change it (Picture below) because I couldn't click on it
