Can you connect a Bluetooth kitchen printer to an android tablet and print to it via square app?

Will any Bluetooth printer work?

At the moment, Bluetooth printers aren't supported with Android devices, @AandMEvents.

So you would need to use either a USB (via Square Stand) or Ethernet printer for connecting to the Square Point of Sale app.

What options I have for Bluetooth printers from a tablet? A wired solution isn't going to work for us.

If I used an apple tablet could I use a Bluetooth kitchen printer?

@AandMEvents bluetooth printers are only compatible with devices running the latest version of Apple iOS. So any iPad with the latest version of the software installed will work for you.

I will leave the steps below for connecting a compatible bluetooth printer like this to the Point of Sale app.

To connect your Bluetooth receipt printer:

On the iOS Device, go to Settings ➔ Bluetooth ➔ toggle Bluetooth on.
Open the Square app, then go to Settings ➔ Hardware ➔ Printers ➔ Create Printer Station.
Enter a name for the printer, and tap No Printer Selected.
Select Connect a Bluetooth Printer and follow the on-screen instructions.
Once your printer is paired, return to the Square app and tap Print Test.
In the section Use this printer for, toggle on what you’d like to print depending on your needs: Receipts, In-person order tickets, Order ticket stubs and Void tickets.
Tap Save.
