Hi All,

Has anyone else been contacted by a company called BuyBuzz through the Seller Community? It seemed legit, but now I'm concerned that it might not be. I'd appreciate any thoughts if you've had contact from them as well. The person who signed my message was called Haz.

We had a look and this person doesn't seem to be a partner affiliated with Square.

We've escalated to the appropriate team to investigate and take action on their account.

If anything like this does come up again in future, please let us know!

@Breffni I know there’s been chatter about this in the SS community so seems they’re contacting across both sides of the pond too.

Thanks @Sam_400º I'm not usually in that channel but the whole team has been made aware now, but always feel free to tag any of us to ensure we get eyes on anything strange ASAP - the account is US based so our US accounts services team is investigating!

Hi All,

I've just had an email from the guy who initially contacted me. He explained that it was legitimate and that they have been working on it for the past year. I'm a massive cynic and hope that my instincts aren't right, I'm being cautious at this point. It's definitely good to question these things. I'll update you when/if I actually manage to get into the site, but in the meantime if any of you hear anything, please let me know.
