      <description>&lt;P&gt;When I try to use my card reader I get the message about Developer Options not being supported.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have read the above&lt;/P&gt;&lt;H4&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;What to do if you see the message 'Developer options are not supported'&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/H4&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If you see the message that&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;I&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Developer options are not supported&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/I&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;, please turn off the developer options within your device before running through the troubleshooting steps. To turn off developer options:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Navigate to&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;section of your&amp;nbsp;&lt;U&gt;device&lt;/U&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Developer Options&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Toggle&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Developer Options&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;off.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If you can’t see the Developer Options menu:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Tap&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;About Device&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Tap&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Build Number&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;7 times &amp;gt; y&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;ou will see a prompt on the screen indicating developer options are enabled&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Tap the back arrow to navigate back to&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Tap&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Developer Options&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;gt; t&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;oggle&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Developer Options&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;OFF.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;but nothing applies to my device.&amp;nbsp; Can you tell me where I'm meant to find the device settings, I've looked under settings and the hardware but there is no mention of developer options or the build number.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Can you tell me how to turn the developer options off.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;You should see a gear icon on your home screen or within the drop-down menu of your mobile device. That is your Settings and you'll be able to follow the steps above.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If you can let me know the exact model&amp;nbsp;you're using, I can take a further look and see how best to get the developers option turn off as well.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
