I have created a discount 7 for £1. When I put 5% as the discount it doesn't work on the POS but if i change the discount to 10% is works. Any ideas I'm guessing its another fault on squares side.

Hi @Pricecutfood, so sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue! Can you let me know what happened when you apply a 5% discount through the app versus when you apply a 10% discount? If you have any screenshot of the discrepancy, that will definitely help us investigate.

As you can see 5% doesn't automatically add the discount but 10% does

Thanks for sending that on, @Pricecutfood! I was able to reproduce the issue on my test account so I've raised this with our engineering team. Once I have an update on the ticket, I will able to assist further.

Thanks for your patience @Pricecutfood! The team have reached out and let know they are still working on this right now - apology that this has taken longer than expected but there are a few different things the team want to look into to make sure the fix will fully resolve the issue.

Hi @Pricecutfood, I just want to follow up with you on this!

Based on their investigation, the team believed this is caused by how the system is rounding the discount. They are working on a fix for this right now.

In the meantime, a workaround is to create a Buy One Get One Free discount. I've tested the configuration on my account as below.

Using this, when I add 7 items to cart, I'll get the discount desired.
