How do I create a data feed from my website to show products on Google shopping?

I have tried using the option in Google merchant centre where it crawls your sites and creates the products in Google shopping but it will not show them as it has many issues. How do I create the data sheet from website myself or manually for the Google shopping?

Square doesn't automatically submit items and your business to Google Shopping listings. I was pretty unfamiliar with the process, but I did find this helpful resource directly from Google that looks to walk users through the process.

must say square is really frustrating, from H1 tags issue to difficulty in adding image alt tags, its making me think i chose the wrong platform...

At the moment, integrating Square listings and Google Shopping is only available for Square customers based in the US. We don't have a timeline on when it will be available in the UK as of yet, but I can see why it would be beneficial for you and your business. I'll make sure to pass it on to our team and hopefully, this is something that we'll be able to facilitate in the future. Make sure to keep an eye out on the Seller Community, so you don't miss out on any updates on new products or partnerships.

Hi @k_atie

Is there any news when this might be available in the UK yet? It's something that would certainly help boost our business. I'm using an app (Kliken) at the moment but it doesn't work properly most of the time. When it is working and I can use the sponsored Google shopping features I notice an uptick in my online sales. With the state of retail as it is at the moment to be able to get these additional sales consistently would massively help our business.

Hi @ReefPassion - just stepping in for Skyler here.

Thank you for that insight, I completely understand the sentiment in this current climate.

I had a look internally and what I could find is that the limitation is not on Square's end in this case - meaning there's something we're waiting on on Google's side to be able to implement this, as it has been in Square USA.

I do wish there was more we could do here as I know it's highly requested but I can't in this case provide any sort of timeline, sorry about that.

I'll be sure to update this thread with any future updates.
