Square payments on BigCommerce are being declined

Hello,

I just set up Square on my website which runs on BigCommerce, but some payments over £200 are being declined and I am really frustrated as I'm loosing customers. Can anyone help?

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue.

We can't access accout specific details on the Community so I can't see the declines however it sounds to me that this could be related to Strong Customer Authentication (SCA). Another seller had a similar query recently so I'll link that post here for you to take a look at if you are unfamiliar.

I would suggest getting in touch with BigCommerce when you can to ensure SCA has been fully implemented. Most likely the payments are failing because there is no 3DS triggered on the transactions.
