Email Addresses from Payments

Where do I find the email addresses of the people who have bought a product using the phone app? I can see the payment but not the email address I sent the receipt to?

Any suggestions?

Hey @koogar, welcome to Square's Seller Community!

It is currently not possible to retrieve email addresses that a buy enters into the Square system, as it goes against our Privacy Policy. Depending on the payment card, you might be able to see the customer's name on the bottom-left corner of a payment receipt. To look up receipts, head to your Square Dashboard and click Transactions.

If you need to gather customer information, you can add it directly to the sale or your Customer Directory. This will make your customer's information accessible at any time. This article explains the steps to add customer information to your Customer Directory from the Square app.
