Hi. I have bought a "Connect" plan and went through the steps to use my own domains name but I did not have an existing A record for www. I did have a CNAME record for www but that didn't have a field to enter an IP address. I created a new A record for www and entered the IP address provided. Will that work? I need to try to ensure that the website is offline for as short a time as possible.

For anyone interested, I resolved this issue by changing the Namesevers to the default names. Strange that the instructions didn't suggest doing this.

Hi @Saxon, sorry for the delayed response and thank you for providing an update on this.

It's hard to tell but it sounds like you may have transferred your domain rather than connected it.

I'm glad to hear it's working, either way, let me know if anything else comes up.
