      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi. I have bought a "Connect" plan and went through the steps to use my own domains name but I did not have an existing A record for www. I did have a CNAME record for www but that didn't have a field to enter an IP address. I created a new A record for www and entered the IP address provided. Will that work? I need to try to ensure that the website is offline for as short a time as possible.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;It's hard to tell but it sounds like you may have&lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/gb/en/article/7024-transferring-your-domain-to-weebly#:~:text=From%20your%20Square%20Online%20Overview,step-by-step%20instructions." target="_blank"&gt; transferred&lt;/A&gt; your domain rather than &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/gb/en/article/6916-connect-your-domain-with-square-online-store" target="_blank"&gt;connected it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
