Ordering items in Categories - does not match POS Terminal display

I have organised product categories and populated them with items in the order that I want them displayed on the terminal. But when I exit the re-arranging task I notice that they are not displayed in the same order on the terminal. This can lead to order entry errors as they are not in a logical order on the screen.

Please can someone explain how to fix this issue?

Hi Benji 👋 welcome to the Seller Community!

At this time, the categories on your Square Terminal screen will be arranged in Alphabetical order, and can't be customised.

You can customise the favorites tab instead, non-alphabetically, check out this thread's best answer for adding a favourites screen to your Square Terminal.

The items would need to be manually arranged in this case.

Hi - thanks for the update. Use of the favourites screen does not work for our sales flow. It seems a pretty basic function. Having looked into this a little more it seems this has been a long standing request. Oh well.
