Trying to set a DNS record but it does not save

Trying to set a DNS record but it does not save, I am trying to add a A type DNS record to a subdomain named portal pointing to a DNS where its hosted outside of square, but whenever I try to save that record it does not show up on the list on the DNS records.

Only the default one shows up - * www and @, and nothing else.

Is there any way to fix this? would really be appreciated.

I'd be happy to take a look at this for you. Can you confirm your website URL or domain ? Is the domain owned by Square and you'd like to point it to a website hosted by a different provider ?
