How to manually transfer money into your bank account from your Square account

Hello!

I wanted to share some information about how you can transfer your money from Square to your bank account using manual transfers.

When you activate manual transfers this means your money will stay in your Square balance instead of automatically being transferred to your bank account on a nightly basis. When you initiate manual transfer, the funds will arrive in your bank account within 24 hours - at no extra cost.

How to activate manual transfers:

Go to Settings in your Dashboard or Square Point of Sale app.
Select Transfers.

In the Deposit Schedule section, select Manual.

Once you’ve activated manual transfers, here are your options for transferring your funds:

Standard transfer: Arrives the next business day for no additional fee.
Instant transfer: Arrives instantly for an additional 1% fee.

How do you actually initiate the manual transfer once you have switched from automatic?

Dashboard > Balance > Overview > Transfer out (blue button)
