Is there a way to amend the text for the not accepting orders?

Is there anywhere in the settings we can alter what the text says when we turn off accepting orders?

The reason for this is as a food take away service that only operates at certain hours if would be nice to specify the opening hours rather than just say we are not accepting orders which could potentially be seen as the store is closed and put people off from coming back to the site. It would be much nicer to say we are currently not accepting orders our open times are 12:00 - 14:00 or something similar.

Hi @lettie16, thank you for this feedback!

At the moment, there isn't a way to edit the text that appears when you turn off accepting order at the moment. However, what you can potentially do is setup an announcement popup or banner that let the customer knows that you are currently close.

Additionally, once you've set up your pickup & delivery hours in the backend, if customers try to order when these services are unavailable, they should see a message saying Preorder available. Next pickup DATE TIME.

Add the ability to change the Our store is not currently accepting orders text.

This would be really useful especially for a take-away food service that runs at specific times of day. So instead of looking like the store is just closed. The ability to change this text to include open hours would be perfect. That way customers will be encouraged to return to the site when we are open as opposed to maybe thinking oh they are closed permanently. Especially if they have returned multiple times and not noticed the opening hours.

It would make for a better UI experience.

Our customers are seeing a "Business is closed" rather than "Preorder Available" - how can this be changed?

The Accept Order Online is enabled.

It seems to be because we only allow people to pre-order on the day/night before, rather than allowing them to schedule the date and time of their orders - however, ordering is enabled so I'm not sure why it says 'Business is closed"
