    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/633444"&gt;@LindseySerata28&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;Unfortunately, that does seem to be the case. You either need a square Online Store or to be using a third-party store that integrates with Square to sell event ticket type items. And I do not believe the free tier of Square Online will work, either, at least not at this time.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I’d suggest a feature request. But I would be surprised if this restriction changed, really.       <title>Trying to Setup Event Ticket</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm trying to create an event ticket and I've researched how to do this.&amp;nbsp; But there's apparently supposed to be an "item type" drop-down menu on the create item page.&amp;nbsp; It's not there for me.&amp;nbsp; What am I doing wrong?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.squareup.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/633444"&gt;@LindseySerata28&lt;/a&gt;. &amp;nbsp;A common misunderstanding. &amp;nbsp;You see, confusingly Square has provided us with TWO item editors. &amp;nbsp;One is the main item catalog editor which you are probably using (at Dashboard &amp;gt; Items &amp;amp; Orders &amp;gt; Items &amp;gt; Item Library), and the other is the one that presents various options available only to items sold online (at Online &amp;gt; Items &amp;gt; Site Items). &amp;nbsp;You want to be using the second one to create event tickets.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Let me know if you need anything else.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PS — as a shameless plug, &lt;A href="https://www.sellercommunity.com/t5/Square-for-Restaurants/One-Item-Catalog-to-rule-them-all/idi-p/688697" target="_self"&gt;I submitted a feature request here&lt;/A&gt; requesting that Square merge all item catalog capabilities into one master catalog with one editor. &amp;nbsp;If you think that is a good idea, please follow the link and upvote/like it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
