Items Sales Report

We have two walk in in shops and and an online shop. The Online shop has its inventory linked to one of the walk in shops, so all orders go through this walk in shop. Is there a way on the item sales report when exported to break out the online sales from the attached walk in shop sales?

Hey @doc_choc, I think I got this to work, but let me know!

When export your Item Sales report, you should be able to choose Details CSV.

Within this file, there's a column (usually at the end) that say Source. This will give you a breakdown of where the sales come from (Point of Sale app, Square Online, Virtual Terminal, etc.)

If you're viewing the report on your Dashboard, you can also click Display By > Source. This will also show a breakdown of where the item sales come from.

Tried this but can't see source in the exported report 😞

These are the columns we have in the export file, no source 😞

Item Qty Price Point Name SKU Modifiers Applied Product Sales Discounts Net Sales Tax Gross Sales Transaction ID Payment ID Device Name Notes Details Event Type Location Dining Option Customer ID Customer Name Customer Reference ID Unit Count GTIN

Thanks for letting me know @doc_choc! I tried it again on my end here and I think we will need to select Display By > Source first before exporting the Details CSV. Would you mind checking if the Source field is populating for you in the CSV file?
