Hey @UNikbits, thanks for your post!

I test a few things on my website and while there isn't a way to stop certain options from automatically becoming filters on your Square Online site, a workaround would be to create those options as either item variation or modifiers. Both these features will still let customers elect what they need.

Variations are quite similar to options. The difference is variations are created per item, so you'd need to manually do this for each item rather than applying a set like with options.

I hope this will help!

Square Online - Options & Filters

So accidentally I came to realise that when I use the options feature on my items, this subsequently creates a filter on my website.

This is great as I am a clothing retailer and means my customers can filter my clothes by Small, Medium and Large etc when shopping.

However this has also created me a problem in that for some items I use options to allow customers to pick between colours and dying styles. This looks silly as a filter on the website.

So my question is is there a way to stop certain options automatically becoming filters on the website?
