Hello, do you know when Square Online will be available in Europe? Can you tell me any date? Unfortunately, if it's not soon we will have to go ahead with another website builder. Thank you!

Hey @mindup, thanks for your post! Are you currently looking to take payments from customers in Europe or are you looking to create a website for a business based in Europe?

Square can process internationally issued cards bearing a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Visa Electron and Vpay logo. The only thing is cardholders may be charged for currency conversion by their card issuer since payments must be processed in the seller's local currency (i.e. if the seller is based in the US, prices and payments will be in dollars.)

Right now, Square Online is available for businesses in the Republic of Ireland and we're working to bring payment processing to other countries. If the business is based in Ireland, they can definitely sign up and process payments with Square.

Hey tranguyen,
We are looking to create a website for a business based in Europe.
We are in Europe and want to sell our digital art to our fans, but now this is impossible with square online because we are outside the region. Wonder if Europe will be covered soon, as when we tried before few months it was impossible.

We don't have a timeline for when payment processing will be available in other European countries but we'll share all announcements on our site and Product Updates when we have time, so it's definitely worth keeping an eye out for it.
