Take a Payment online button - no products

Hi All

Tried and failed! I want to be able to add a Payment Link to my web site (as I have done with my previous card services). The button should take you to Square payment page (I have one set up, https://supake-ltd.square.site and that loads fine. I don't want 'bells & whistles' just a Make a Payment option where my customers can click the button, enter some details, eg Invoice Number and Name, amount to pay and card details etc.

It seems that I have to add a product to be able to use this - is that so or am I missing something?

No, this is not what I need. I do not want a fixed amount. I want a button that will let a customer make a Payment. The payment will vary (on what they owe). The button is simply to take them to a payment screen where they enter the amount and card details, etc. This is how I used Paya Trader and that, i have to say, was much easier to use than Square!

I also have another issue with this set up and that is lets me 'Add Image' on the payment button, requesting a file with a min width of 320px. I have tried and have images 360, 500, 1000, xxx+ and cannot get past this - why?
