Membership benefits

Hi,

I've set up a membership which I believe is £10 recurring monthly. I want to give my members access to everything on my store and also have an area of the site just for them to access with a private group section. Is this possible, or should I be using something else like Patreon or Buy Me A Coffee? If it's not possible I really don't understand the membership option on square!

Hello @bobdrums, thanks for your post and welcome to the Seller Community.

The membership function is intended for selling non-physical items such as memberships with Square Online to receive payment for clubs, classes, trainings and more - (Note: Membership items in Square Online don’t support subscription payments at this time).

I don't think this is exactly what you were looking for, it may be an idea to set up a recurring subscription payments via Square Online Checkout. This could be the subscription fee to access your site which you can add password protection to the site - i.e. customers need a password to open your site.

I know this is a longer workaround, but I hope this provides some clarity nonetheless!
