I would like to be able to print a end of day balance on the square ,brakedown of payments like a till ,i fail to find out how without uses emails etc and different printer

What system are you currently using to process payments with Square?

Square Point of Sale app and Reader
Square Terminal
Square Register
Square Stand

Do you have any third party hardware connected, such as a printer or cash drawer?

Knowing this will help me give you the best answer here, I'll keep an eye out for your reply.

I using the square printer also ,you can view transactions but not able just to get a Z reading which is annoying i run a cafe so need that figure at end of shift

Thanks @Cosycafe21! I'm sorry but I'm still not sure exactly which piece of equipment you are using.

If you have a cafe and are possibly using Square for Restaurants. I'll leave an article here on how you can print a close of day report.

From your Square Dashboard you can export a daily transaction CSV file. It's not the same format as a Z report but will give you the information you require.

I will give that a go yes i hot the register, also do you know anything about the settings so i have had to edit the menu into categories but when i go to the web page it still all jumbled up and in alphabetical order which looks awful & confusing how do i correct this ,really want it working to get rid of just eat ,their prices are extortionate

Hi @Cosycafe21, if you go to Square Online > Items > Site Categories > Rearrange categories. Does this work for you?
