thread Appointments - one-off extras in Payments Troubleshooting

Hello, I'm using Square Appointments for my PT/Massage business. I have set days and times I work in the week which is fine for the most part but I also want to offer 'evening clinics' etc. Is it possible to/how do I add additional blocks of booking space on 'random' dates?

Hi @rsk, thanks for your post!

There isn’t a way to create customised settings for services with Square Appointments at the moment. For example, customising service availability for certain days of the week isn’t currently supported.

One way around this may be to use the Personal Event feature with Square Appointments. It's intended to allow to block off a period of time for unavailability.

It's customisable though so you could give it a unique name so customers know there is limited availability. You could potentially insert a one time Checkout Link into the description (depending on what you planning to do with clinics, number of attendees, etc) to take payment or simply let the clients know to contact you if you are interested and convert the block into a booking. (Again this would depend on attendees, but there's always Checkout Links/Virtual Terminal to take payments outside of the system if there's a few spots available).

A bit long winded but I hope it helps!
