Mailing list confirmation email

I have a newsletter sign up form on my site but if an email address is added nothing happens for the end user. I would like to auto send a welcome email with a discount code. Is this possible?

Good question, the contact form to your Square Online site makes it easy for visitors to get in touch with you while keeping your personal contact information private. It allows visitors to contact you quickly to do things like ask about your items or services, request event information, ask for a custom quote, etc.

However, it's not intended to be used as a mailing list for your clients as they have not specifically signed any GDPR compliant forms consenting to receive email marketing campaigns from you.

In order to send out automated welcome campaigns, you'll need to subscribe to Square Marketing and ensure that they have opted in to receive communications from you.
