&lt;P&gt;Correct, if you would like to enable &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/gb/en/article/5493-set-a-custom-cancellation-policy-with-square-appointments" target="_self"&gt;bookings with no-show protection&lt;/A&gt;, you must enter a cancellation fee amount on &lt;STRONG&gt;each service’s&lt;/STRONG&gt; edit page or you won’t be able to charge a fee.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Is it possible to choose no show protection/ cancellations fees for services let’s say under £100, and charge deposits only for the ones costing £100+ ? Or is it case of “one or another applied to all services” without options to choose between the two depending on service?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;At the moment, there isn’t a way to charge a percentage-based No-Show Protection fee across all of your services. I can definitely see how this feature would be useful, so I’ll pass this feedback on to our Product Teams.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If your customer does not show up or cancels outside your cancellation window, you can choose to charge them a set amount fee.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To update the fee for each service from your online Square Dashboard:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Click on &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/dashboard/items/services" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Service Library&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/A&gt; &amp;gt; select the service to update.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Under &lt;I&gt;Price and Duration&lt;/I&gt;, enter in your &lt;STRONG&gt;Cancellation Fee&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Click &lt;STRONG&gt;Save&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
