&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;This is possible if you are using &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="https://squareup.com/gb/en/invoices/features" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Square Invoices Plus&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;. With this plan, you'll be able to schedule multiple payments for any job or project by setting up a payment schedule based on specific milestones or phases of the job — all from one invoice.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To create a progress invoice with a milestone-based payment schedule:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Go to the &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/dashboard/invoices/overview" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Square Invoices Overview page&lt;/A&gt; and click &lt;STRONG&gt;Create Invoice.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Select a customer from your Customer Directory, or enter a new name and email address or phone number.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Add line items, and optionally apply modifiers, notes, and taxes by clicking &lt;STRONG&gt;Customize&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Select &lt;STRONG&gt;Add Payment Schedule.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Toggle on Request initial deposit, if needed, and Split balance into milestones.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Enter the amount(s) or percentage(s) you have scheduled, select due date(s) and click &lt;STRONG&gt;Save&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Fill out the rest of the invoice details and click &lt;STRONG&gt;Send&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
