&lt;P&gt;The logic of processing a refund on the Square Register would be the same as any other Square device, be it the app or Terminal.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Any refund you want to process would need to attach to a transaction that you have taken payment for. It's not currently possible to process a manual or custom refund.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To issue a refund from your Square Register:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;From the navigation bar at the bottom of your screen, tap &lt;STRONG&gt;Transactions&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Locate the transaction to refund and tap &lt;STRONG&gt;Issue Refund.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Enter the full pound amount, items, or the partial amount to refund.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Tap &lt;STRONG&gt;Next&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Select a reason for the refund &amp;gt; tap &lt;STRONG&gt;Refund&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
