Search Appointments by Custom Field information

when entering a new appointment manually on my calendar, the search client field searches by the name of client. Is there a way to have it search by a custom field I have added for all of my clients?

Hey @sarah316, welcome to the Seller Community 🙂

I double-checked this one and at the moment, being able to search custom field information on Square Appointments is a feature request. I did see it come up several times so hopefully it's something we'll be able to offer in the future.

At the moment when booking appointments, customers are only able to enter in their first and last name, email and phone number with the appointment. There is a notes field where they may enter any additional information, but there's no way to search Customer Directory for information entered into the notes field when the client books.

It would be great to add this request to our Square Appointments Ideate board so that our product team can track the request.
