    <description>&lt;P&gt;If an order is taken in a physical store for delivery at a later date, using Square POS retail, how is this done? &amp;nbsp;I found a similiar question to mine was answered in the US comunity and one of the moderators suggested&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;"Creating an item called 'Shipping' and leave the price variable.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;That way, when adding the shipping item to the sale, the POS screen will prompt you to enter a custom amount."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;This post was from 2021 and I wondered is this still the best workaround for deliverty request instore or is there now any other options?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The question above was asked on the Square US community and one of the moderators suggested&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I read this a few times and I'm not sure I fully understand, could you explain a bit more in detail what you are looking to set up?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Is it a notification to you/your staff that the order is not to be shipped immediately? If so, would adding a note suffice?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I've been testing with the app and that seems to be the only option here, however it may be that I've understood your query wrong.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Alegra,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Basically I wanted to know what is the best method to add delivery to an order that is placed in store? &amp;nbsp;It seems that delivery can be added online but not within the retail app. &amp;nbsp;Should I add the delivery as an item in my inventory as suggested in the US post I was refering to &amp;nbsp;or is there a better way?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also, as customers will be choosing dates for delivery upto three weeks in advance, how do I then sort the orders so I can have them listed claerly in order for my in house delivery driver?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks Justin&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I have tested it on my account and it is possible to &lt;A href="https://www.sellercommunity.com/t5/Product-Updates-Archive/New-Create-orders-from-your-Retail-POS/ba-p/138708" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;create orders&lt;/A&gt; for delivery from the Retail app. It's possible I'm overlooking something so apologies if so &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:"&gt;😄&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Here are the steps I followed:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Add item to basket &amp;gt; Create Order &amp;gt; Add Customer to Sale &amp;gt; Select/Create Customer &amp;gt; Add to Sale &amp;gt; Select Fulfilment Type (Delivery or Pickup) &amp;gt; Done.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;What type of device are you using? I noticed I could do this from an iPad but not an iPhone. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
