&lt;P&gt;At the moment, there isn't a way to disable contactless payments with our Hardware, this is considered a feature request. I definitely understand your concern about wanting to limit chargeback, so I will make sure to pass this feedback on to our internal teams.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Although there’s no guaranteed way to prevent chargebacks, merchants can take some steps to stop certain kinds of chargebacks from happening. These include:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Keep proof of all credit and debit card orders.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Have a clear, easy-to-understand return policy.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Have a recognisable business name on credit card statements.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Use a delivery service that requires a signature upon arrival.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Train employees on best practices for card-present and card-not-present transactions.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;If you’re taking online orders, be sure to use a payment gateway or online payment processor that verifies the AVS on file for the card being used.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Accurately describe items. Customers who receive items that are not as described have valid grounds for a chargeback.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Respond to customer service issues promptly and courteously.&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Remember&lt;/STRONG&gt;: If you do get hit with a chargeback, it’s important to respond to your bank or payment processor promptly. Many banks will simply process the chargeback for the customer if a merchant does not respond in the allotted time.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>How can I disable contactless on the reader?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I want to prevent contactless payment and require a pin number, as I want to limit chargebacks. If someone steals a card, they won't know the pin.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I thought I saw a way to switch it off in the settings but I can't find it again. The reader is taking payment as the card is coming close to the reader, before it can be inserted.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
