For sales via our website, we are not using the square app but square as one payment option. I am wondering if e-gift vouchers can still be used in this case? There is usually just a 'pay by card' button that goes through to square, and a gift voucher option is not shown despite me setting it up. It does work via the physical square terminal...

Any suggestions?

Yup, I totally misunderstood and reading again have got the idea.

Gift cards are only designed to work face-2-face and on the Square platform.

Something you could test is putting the gift card number in the CC field and then any expiration date and CCV. This works on the Square based sites if a customer wants to use more than one gift card - but I've no idea if it would on the gateway.

Is your question "Can someone use use an e-gift card during a face-to-face transaction?"

So I've just had a look through our Gift Card FAQ, and it seems like you should be able to use Gift Cards for Online transactions. Would it be possible for you to share your website with me, @akshayapradipa? This will allow me to take a further look into why a Gift Card option is not appearing on your website's checkout.

Just stepping in for @Skyler here.

Your eGift Cards cannot be redeemed on any online store platforms outside of your Square Online Store powered by Weebly.

You can embed your egift cards onto your external site and sell them, but your customers won't be able to redeem transactions with them.
