UK and International shipping profiles

I need to have different rates for UK and international shipping but every time I add an item to the UK shipping profile, it gets taken off the international. Is there a work around so that I can have two different shipping rates? I sell art work, so there is sometimes a big difference between regions in terms of shipping (mainly because of insurance) so really need to find a way to make this work.

Just to make sure I fully understand, when you have an order which includes items for both UK & international, the shipping will automatically default to the UK rate?

Can you let me know what shipping rates you currently have set up?

I have profiles set up for UK and International grouped according to items. Some items are heavier than others or of more value (therefore have higher postal insurance). I can add either the UK profile or the international profile to an item but when I try to add both (as I need to), it removes the item from the other profile (whichever it is). I'm guessing there's no way to do this as I've added items to both profiles over and again and it's removed one. Is there a work around that you know of?

It's hard to know without seeing the profiles directly @Burro1, however, the system will only allow one shipping profile for a specific item. Shipping profiles set to all items can have multiple rates added though. But the system will not allow multiple shipping profiles to exist with a custom item selection.

It would be a feature request to allow multiple shipping profiles with the same item selected to be added.

I'd suggest taking a look through our support article for shipping and seeing if there is another profile that may work better here 🙂

This really needs sorting out ASAP. It means that I have no choice in order to charge one rate for the UK and one rate Worldwide. I have to either have a flat rate for UK and Worldwide or offer free shipping for UK and charge fpor Worldwide. Please sort this out!
