Confused by deliveries

Hi there,

My website allows all items we sell to be shipped world wide, yay! However....

I am looking to limit the shipping option for framed artwork to be within a 30-50 mile radius of the gallery.

I still want the option to ship mounted artwork and all other items world wide.

I have looked at adding a new shipping profile so I can add framed artwork to this..

I have a few questions...

At the moment the mounted / framed artwork variations are all under one item. Would I need to seperate these so apply the seperate shipping profile? (I am hoping not as I feel it could be quite confusing and not a great shopping experience)..

Is there a way to restrict framed pieces to a distance from our address? When I looked at the shipping profile it only allowed me to pick a country in the UK, I couldn't see how to restrict further than that.

Any other help or guidance would be much appreciated!

I had a look and it looks like you would need two Custom Shipping profiles here, with the applicable items assigned to either one.

The mounted art can stay as one item with variations but it would need to be applied to its own profile set to UK shipping only:

There is currently no way to set a radius for shipping, unfortunately. This option is available only for local delivery. It may take some testing/tweaking to get the most suitable outcome here!
