Hi Everyone

If I change my bank, will all payments including pending ones go to new account, or will pending go to old one and new sales go to new one. Its easter weekend, so I have 3 days pending and want to change it so the next 2 days go to a different bank account (They will all be paid out on same day)

Hi there @Davidmac

British banks offer a switch guarantee which means that the bank will sort out any pending payments, direct debts etc ensuring they go to the new account. Not sure how banks will deal with this in your country if not in the UK.

If you are not sure probably one for customer services to clarify or a quick call to your bank.

Just adding to this thread that whenever you update your linked bank in your Square account, any payments you make will be transferred to the account originally linked until the new account has been fully verified which takes 4 business days.
