Mobile Cash Draw

Hi all,

We've been using Square for a while, love the app linked to our Square Terminal and having the Reader as a back-up. The missing piece to our jigsaw is the cash draw.

We are currently using a basic cash box which obviously is not secure and isn't as elegant and professional as having an automated cash draw. The problem we have is we mainly do markets and events, so 90% of the time we have no power outlets. Are there any battery powered cash draws which integrate with Square?

We use the cash draw in our shop. It has an interface cable that connects to the printer which requires power. This drives the communication to open the draw. With the setup we have I’m not aware of how to make it work unless you can find a compatible battery powered printer capable of working with the interface cable.

Exactly, I'm not aware of any battery-powered cash drawers. As you need to take payments remotely, I believe if you have the hub for Square Terminal, you would be able to connect this USB cash drawer to your Square Terminal for cash transactions.
