      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a customer who purchased an e-gift card in store and paid with cash payment. The recipient of the e-gift card doesn't have an email as she is a young child. When you sell it through the retail POS all you get is a receipt but it does not have the e-gift card code on it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How does the recipient of the e-gift card who does not have an email redeem it in store ?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is there a way the receipt printer would print the e-gift card out with the card number on for redemption ?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:"&gt;😊&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I had a look through our resources and I'm not seeing any other option other than email at this time.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I will raise this with our gift cards product team to see if they can offer an alternative solution here - I'll follow up with you here once I know more.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The suggestion we got was to have the&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;purchaser of the gift card send it to their own email and &lt;A href="https://squareup.com/help/gb/en/article/6000-square-egift-cards" target="_self"&gt;print it&lt;/A&gt; out to physically give to the recipient.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; In this case, you can find the gift card in your dashboard and resend it to the purchaser's email address or a different email address.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I know it's not an ideal solution. Hopefully, we'll have more egift card functionality available in future.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
